Secure The Date
To secure the date with myself it's £100 book fee - which is deducted from final amount - and then we will schedule your design consultation
Design Consultation
A design consultation takes place at my studio in Uddingston, approximately 4-6 months before to design and discuss your dream cake and includes the option to sample cake flavours.
Final Confirmation
Final details are confirmed 8 weeks before the wedding date with the final payment due no less than 4 weeks before the wedding.

FAQs
Yes I do it all. Wedding cakes are generally booked in the diary well in advance so when I have availability around these I do all types of occasions & cupcakes.
For occasion cakes I would need to know the final design by 2 weeks before at the latest, and for weddings the design is usually discussed 4-6 months before the date, and finalised around 8 weeks before.
Further changes may be discussed but can not be guaranteed depending on the amount of work involved.
Weddings are generally in the diary around 1 year in advance especially in the busy summer months, if your date is shorter notice than this, please just message me to check availability.
Birthdays can be booked up to a year in advance and some customers have a rolling deposit so it continues to the following year.
However, I still have some available spaces 4-6 weeks in advance so it’s best just to send me a message and check.
To secure your booking a non refundable deposit is required. £40 for occasion cakes and £100 for wedding cakes.
I will send booking information to you.
Please let me know when you’ve paid the deposit and what name it’s under and I will confirm with you and put it in the diary along with getting some further details for the order form.
If you don’t send deposit within 3 days of receiving booking information please re check to see if your date is still available.
Wedding cakes are all delivered and set up at the venue on the day the morning of the wedding. I will sort all access with venue.
Occasion cakes are all collected from my home studio in Uddingston. This can be the day before event or the morning of the event. We will decide on a suitable time for everyone nearer the required date.
For occasion cake orders the balance can be transferred on collection or cash on collection.
Wedding orders the balance is due by no later than 4 weeks before. Any cancellations under 4 weeks the full balance will still be due.
Yes for wedding orders only I can provide a box of 6 sponge samples. These can be purchased then collected from Uddingston or I can post them out to you. They can also be sampled at the studio if you require a design consultation.
Once you have booked myself for the wedding cake, you are welcome (if required) at my home studio for a design consultation.
These are best for couples really looking for some help with the design and putting everything together. Here you will see display cakes, go through the size required, finalise the design as well as try the range of sponges.
This normally lasts 30mins approx and is best to be done 4-6 months before the wedding.
